This festival is designed to celebrate the 400 years of Acadian history in the Edmundston area. The celebrations are done through dance, music, and theatre, on a natural site. Rain or shine, the 30 young singers, dancers, actors and musicians will brighten up one's day with this top of the range presentation. The Edmundston Jazz and Blues Festival is held in June of each year and features an array of musical acts as well as food, local artisans, contests and children's activities. Events are held in various locations around Edmundston.

This annual event is co-hosted by the cross-border towns of Edmundston, New Brunswick and Madadwaska, Maine. The three-day festival features an array of riding events, organized suppers, a dance, drag races and breakfasts. Festival passes provide complete access to all scheduled activities as well as unlimited snowmobiling on both Canadian and American trail systems.

Workshops, lectures and activities for all ages are also offered. The event takes place at the Cité des Jeunes A.-M.-Sormany school.
